Frik’ik’T’kik is the full name of the Kobold that Nicodemus discovered hiding behind the boxes in the dragon’s cave. When Szartharrax arrived in Kobold Hall, he made himself the leader of the strongest kobold clan there, then devoured the leaders of the other clans to unite the kobolds under his leadership. Frik’s tribe was one of the smaller clans which was all but wiped out in the power struggle. He was conscripted into serving Szartharrax and sorting the trinkets and treasures brought to the dragon by the rest of the Skull-Kicker tribe.
Frik is small even for a Kobold, so he was not much use in their raiding parties. He has a habit of sorting small random things – rocks, sticks, bits of trash, etc. He showed such dedication to ordering and categorizing (a trait not usually attributed to Kobolds), that the chieftan offered him to Szartharrax to sort the treasures that they brought back from raids. Szartharrax accepted, but did not regard Frik with any kindness, and was planning on eating him anyway if the tribe did not bring enough for the dragon to eat.
Now that his entire extended clan has been destroyed he has nowhere to go, and has “attached” himself to Nicodemus (and his friends) as his new master(s).
